Some good news to report! There will be no net fishery within the Salcombe Estuary!

At the recent meeting of the Devon and Severn Inshore Fisheries and Conservation Authority’s Byelaw and Permitting Sub-Committee 11 of the members voted in favour of maintaining the prohibition of fixed and drift nets within the Salcombe Estuary.

The other two members present abstained.
