The Society objected to this proposed development as we believe it fails to comply with the description of permitted development as set out by Schedule 2, Part 6, Class A of the GPDO. And having measured the area from the site plan we considered the total area of the development would be in excess of 1,800m2. The limit for it to be permitted development is 1,000m2.
Yet despite this, and despite the case officer noting our concerns in his report, he still concluded that prior approval was not required.
