On 3rd November 2025, the South Hams Society submitted an application to South Hams District Council to have Woodcot - which comprises several properties across several Land Registry titles - listed as an Asset of Community Value (ACV).

The six week consideration period will end on 29th December 2025 (during which time the council will be closed for Christmas) - the decision as to whether or not the application for listing has been successful will be announced on 2nd January 2026.
