WE ARE LOOKING FOR A MEMBERSHIP SECRETARY
The South Hams Society is a registered charity. Its aims are to promote interest in and care for the beauty, history and character of the South Hams, to protect and improve the landscape and help ensure high planning standards.
The role:
This is a voluntary (unpaid) role to work alongside a small, friendly Committee to support our recruitment and retention of members. The Membership Secretary is responsible for processing membership forms, replying to members’ correspondence, paying in cheques etc.
We would also like your ideas about new social events which members might enjoy. This is an interesting role for which you will need to be IT literate, well organised and able to keep meticulous records.
